Do you know which learning style works best for your child? Here, we explore the seven primary learning styles and how they can benefit students of all ages.

(1) Visual learners

Visual learners are those who learn best by seeing information. They often prefer to have information presented to them in charts, graphs, and diagrams. When learning new material, visual learners often close their eyes and picture the information in their minds.

(2) Auditory learners

Auditory learners are those who learn best by hearing information. They often prefer to have information presented to them through lectures and discussions. When learning new material, auditory learners often read aloud or recite information to themselves.

(3) Kinesthetic leaners

Kinesthetic learners are those who learn best by doing. They often prefer to have information presented to them through hands-on activities and experiments. When learning new material, kinesthetic learners often take notes or build models.

(4) Tactile learners

Tactile learners are those who learn best by touching and feeling information. They often prefer to have information presented to them through books that they can touch and feel or through objects that they can manipulate. When learning new material, tactile learners often take notes or build models.

(5) Interpersonal learners

Interpersonal learners are those who learn best by interacting with others. They often prefer to have information presented to them through group activities and discussions. When learning new material, interpersonal learners often work with a partner or in a group.

(6) Intrapersonal learners

Intrapersonal learners are those who learn best by working alone. They often prefer to have information presented to them through books or articles that they can read at their own pace. When learning new material, intrapersonal learners often take notes or write essays.

(7) Naturalistic learners

Naturalistic learners are those who learn best by observing the world around them. They often prefer to have information presented to them through field trips and nature walks. When learning new material, naturalistic learners often take notes or write essays about their observations.
