Phase 1: Registration for Children with Siblings Studying in the Primary School

Phase 1 remains unchanged for the 2023 registration exercise. Children with siblings studying in the primary school of choice can register for admission, giving them the highest priority for admission. It usually happens from June 2023 onwards.

Phase 2A(1): Registration for Children Whose Parents Are Alumni of the Primary School

In 2023, Phase 2A(1) has been expanded to include parents who are former international students of the primary school. This change is in recognition of the increasing number of international students who have studied in Singapore’s primary schools. They may want to enroll their children in the same schools.

 

Phase 2A(2): Registration for Children Whose Parents Are Affiliated with the Primary School

Phase 2A(2) remains unchanged for the 2023 registration exercise. Children whose parents are affiliated with the primary school can register for admission during this phase.

Phase 2B: Registration for Children Living within 2km of the Primary School

In 2023, the distance criteria for Phase 2B has been extended to include children living within 2km of the primary school. Previously, this phase was only open to children living within 1km of the school.

Phase 2C: Registration for Children Living between 2km and 4km of the Primary School

The distance criteria for Phase 2C has been revised for the 2023 registration exercise. Children living between 2km and 4km of the primary school can register for admission during this phase.

Phase 2C(S): Registration for Children Living within 2km of the Primary School but Did Not Secure a Place in Phases 2A(1) to 2C

Phase 2C(S) remains unchanged for the 2023 registration exercise. Children who live within 2km of the primary school. It did not secure a place during Phases 2A(1) to 2C can register for admission during this phase.

Phase 3: Registration for Children who are Permanent Residents or International Students

Phase 3 remains unchanged for the 2023 registration exercise. Permanent Residents and international students can register for admission during this phase. With the competition for places, planning ahead and being familiar with the registration process.
